Bluff your way to modern art
I forgot where I got this but I've never read a summarization of the more popular forms of non-representational art better than this.
Surrealism - tapping the unconscious through automatisms
Mondrian - primary colors and essence
Malevich - geometry and metaphor
Kandinsky - color and emotion
Pollock - fractal spontaneity
Rothko - meditation fields of color
Whiteley - sensuality as a force of nature
I wish someone could do it for conceptual art.
